Xiaomi is about to release a smartphone that is “unbelievably thin.”

Xiaomi continues to pique the public’s interest ahead of the Xiaomi Civi 1S smartphone announcement event by releasing official images of the product.

The Chinese manufacturer has also released a promotional video demonstrating that the Xiaomi Civi 1S does not have a pure white color, but rather a special gradient glitter texture that allows it to create sparkling effects at different angles. This sparkling effect is known as Bling Bling by Xiaomi. According to the name, the Xiaomi Civi 1S will not be a successor to the Civi, which Xiaomi released in September of last year. Instead, this is just a better version of Civi. According to the official image released by Xiaomi, the Civi 1S will maintain its commitment to a slim design, while keeping the same design as the camera module and focusing on pleasing female customers as the Original Civi.

The device’s specifications are also provided. The first is the processing power provided by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip, which includes 8 or 12 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory. It features a 6.55-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen will have a hole in the center for the 32MP front-facing camera, which will use a Sony IMX616 sensor. The phone has a triple camera system on the back, including a 64MP main camera with a Samsung GW3 sensor and OIS (optical stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The device includes a 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities of 55W or 67W. Xiaomi will officially unveil the product on April 21 for an unspecified price.
